Some recommended beaches
If you want to take a tour to discover Elba, among the many places to explore and swim, we recommend the Norsi beach and the Lido di Capoliveri beach.
NORSI BEACH
Situated in the Stella Gulf, Norsi is a splendid example of a dark beach, characterised mainly by fine sand mixed with black pebbles and divided into two parts by a rocky complex that almost reaches the shoreline. The beach slopes gently, especially on the right-hand side, which makes it particularly suitable for children.
The complex offers a large car park just 50 metres from the beach, as well as all kinds of services including a bar, a pizzeria, sunbeds with umbrellas and the possibility of hiring boats and dinghies to enjoy a few hours of absolute relaxation, especially during the busiest periods.
LIDO BEACH
One of the best known and most popular beaches on the Island of Elba, thanks to its beauty and easy access. It is one of the largest beaches on the island, about 450 metres long and about 25 metres wide, consisting of fine, golden sand and surrounded by beautiful vegetation of pine trees and Mediterranean scrub.
The beach is partly free and partly occupied by bathing establishments equipped with every comfort, as well as being perfect for snorkelling, windsurfing and other water sports.
Thanks to its sandy shore and gently sloping seabed, it is also excellent for families with children.
